Privacy policy
Information about how your data is processed on this website and when you contact G&D.
Controller
The controller responsible for processing personal data on this website is Gökhan Demirci, G&D Hausmeisterservice&Umzug Service, sole proprietorship, Ernst-Kraus-Str 8, 92665 Altenstadt a.d.Waldnaab, Germany. You can contact us on 01522 2598584 and at kontakt@gdhausmeister.de.
Website provision and hosting
The website and email service are hosted by Host-Unlimited, a brand of Bieber IT GmbH, Braunschweiger Straße 22, 38518 Gifhorn. When you visit the website, the server processes connection data required for technical operation, particularly your IP address, the time of access, requested address, response status, amount of data transferred, browser information and, where applicable, the referring page. This serves to deliver the website, analyse errors and prevent misuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our interest is in providing a secure and functioning website. How long logs are retained depends on how long the data is needed to ensure operation and investigate specific technical faults or security incidents. It must then be deleted unless a legal retention obligation applies.
Contact and enquiries
When you contact us using the form, by email or by telephone, we process your name, contact details and the content of your enquiry. The moving assistant also records the information you provide about the route, property, scope of the move and date. Once submitted, the website forwards the enquiry by email to kontakt@gdhausmeister.de. The website does not maintain a separate enquiry database. Article 6(1)(b) GDPR applies to preparing or performing a contract. We process other enquiries under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our interest in responding to incoming requests. Providing this information is voluntary; without a means of contacting you, we cannot reply. Acknowledging the privacy information does not constitute consent to advertising.
Retention and recipients
Access is granted to the people handling your enquiry and to the hosting and email providers used. Enquiries are deleted once the matter has been fully resolved, provided that neither statutory retention obligations nor the necessary protection of legal claims justify further storage. Contractual or business documents subject to retention requirements are kept for the applicable statutory periods. The retention period therefore depends on the content and purpose of the correspondence concerned. Data that is no longer needed for these purposes must be deleted.
Form drafts and requested settings
While you complete an enquiry, your browser stores the draft in the current tab so that your entries remain available when navigating between pages. Drafts are removed after successful submission or when you select “Clear entries”. An explicitly selected reduced-motion setting is retained for the tab session. This uses sessionStorage; its lifetime also depends on your browser’s session-restoration behaviour. These functions do not automatically transmit the stored drafts to us. Storage supports the form or settings function you requested (Section 25(2), point 2, TDDDG).
Session and protection against misuse
When a form is prepared, the session cookie gd_contact_session is set. It assigns a security token to your browser session and helps prevent forged requests. The cookie has no fixed lifetime and is designed as a session cookie. Technical session information remains on the server until PHP sessions are automatically cleaned up. Message texts are not stored there. The server also limits sending attempts using timestamps and a verification value derived from the IP address with a secret key. Old counters are removed during a later cleanup once they are more than 24 hours old. The legal basis for this security processing is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The strictly necessary session cookie supports the form function you expressly requested (Section 25(2), point 2, TDDDG).
WhatsApp and external links
This website only provides links to WhatsApp. Your browser or app connects to the provider only when you open a link. For a prepared enquiry, the message text contained in the link is also passed to WhatsApp at that point; you subsequently send it as a chat message there. WhatsApp is provided to users in the European Economic Area by WhatsApp Ireland Limited. The provider may also process data outside the EEA; its privacy policy explains the recipients and the legal mechanisms used for transfers. You can alternatively use our form, email or telephone. Our processing of your message is described in the Contact and enquiries section.
